Job opportunities and growth for young artists at the click of a button thanks to YW4CULT.
The project “YW4CULT – From Talent to Competencies: How Youth Work Can Support Cultural Sector” comes to an end with the most awaited results of the project, a platform to support young artists in finding employment and a handbook for youth workers.
The platform allows artists from different sectors such as music, dance, writing, or graphic design to apply for job opportunities, which are offered both remotely and in different EU countries. Companies can also post vacancies, network and read news from different sectors on the website’s blog. To access all services, all you need to do is register on the platform and include a free biography.
The YW4CULT handbook is designed for youth workers who work with young artists and want to help them develop different competencies, such as self-awareness, organising events, or online personal brand management. The manual is also free of charge and can be downloaded online in different languages. The publication is full of theoretical resources and non-formal education activities tested in workshops held across Europe over the last year.
Both tools are aimed especially at young people, but artists of any age can use them, and the handbook can even be consulted without the need to be a youth worker. Both have been created by project coordinator TDM 2000 Estonia and project partners TDM 200 (Italy), IED Europe (Greece), Ghetto Games (Latvia) and JJ-Street Company (Estonia). The YW4CULT project is funded by the European Union.

Il progetto “YW4CULT – From Talent to Competencies: How youth work can support cultural sector” si conclude con i risultati più attesi del progetto, una piattaforma per supportare i giovani artisti nella ricerca di un lavoro e un manuale per gli operatori giovanili.
La piattaforma consente agli artisti di diversi settori come la musica, la danza, la scrittura o il design grafico di candidarsi alle opportunità di lavoro, offerte sia a distanza che in diversi Paesi dell’UE. Le aziende possono anche pubblicare offerte di lavoro, fare rete e leggere le notizie dai diversi settori sul blog del sito. Per accedere a tutti i servizi è sufficiente registrarsi sulla piattaforma e inserire una biografia gratuita.
Il manuale YW4CULT è pensato per gli operatori giovanili che lavorano con giovani artisti e vogliono aiutarli a sviluppare diverse competenze, come la consapevolezza di sé, l’organizzazione di eventi o la gestione del marchio personale online. Il manuale è gratuito e può essere scaricato online in diverse lingue. La pubblicazione è ricca di risorse teoriche e di attività di educazione non formale sperimentate in workshop tenuti in tutta Europa nel corso dell’ultimo anno.
Entrambi gli strumenti sono rivolti in particolare ai giovani, ma possono essere utilizzati da artisti di qualsiasi età e il manuale può essere consultato anche senza essere un operatore giovanile. Entrambi sono stati creati dal coordinatore del progetto TDM 2000 Estonia e dai partner del progetto TDM 200 (Italia), IED Europe (Grecia), Ghetto Games (Lettonia) e JJ-Street Company (Estonia). Il progetto YW4CULT è finanziato dall’Unione Europea.

El proyecto “YW4CULT – From Talent to Competencies: How youth work can support cultural sector” llega a su fin con los resultados más esperados del proyecto, una plataforma para apoyar a jóvenes artistas a encontrar empleo y un manual para youth workers.
La plataforma permite a artistas de diferentes sectores como la música, la danza, la escritura, o el diseño gráfico, postularse para oportunidades de trabajo, que se ofrecen tanto en remoto como en diferentes países de la Unión Europea. Las empresas también pueden publicar vacantes, hacer networking y leer noticias de diferentes sectores en el blog de la página web. Para acceder a todos los servicios, solo hace falta registrarse en la plataforma e incluir una biografía gratis.
El manual de YW4CULT está diseñado para los youth workers que trabajen con jóvenes artistas y quieran ayudarles a desarrollar diferentes competencias, como conocerse a sí mismos, organizar eventos, o la gestión de la marca personal online. El manual también es gratuito y se puede descargar online en diferentes idiomas. La publicación está llena de de recursos teóricos y actividades de educación no formal puestas a prueba en talleres realizados por toda Europa en el último año.
Las dos herramientas están dirigidas especialmente a jóvenes, pero artistas de cualquier edad pueden utilizarlas, e incluso el manual se puede consultar sin necesidad de ser un youth worker. Ambos han sido creados por el coordinador del proyecto, TDM 2000 Estonia, y los partners del mismo, TDM 200 (Italia), IED Europe (Grecia), Ghetto Games (Letonia) y JJ-Street Company (Estonia). El proyecto YW4CULT cuenta con la financiación de la Unión Europea.
